Mirrors can’t see your heart!
The campaign came about because “zero” became a size in the 60’s to sell diet fads. It wasn’t always a size. Companies put it on clothes to make women want to be smaller. And THAT’S what we have a problem with. There’s nothing wrong with being thin. Or curvy. Or whatever you are. But creating an obsession among women, and making them feel that they have to be so thin that there is literally no way to be thinner — nothing below zero — is the problem. That’s why One Tree Hill writers made “Zero Is Not A Size” a campaign. Because it wasn’t until it became a marketing ploy. And that’s just not right.
